The cheese is just better and the pepperoni isn't as greasy or salty as the chain places. He buys a higher quality of food, which is one of the reasons I think my family likes it so much. The homemade onion rings are awesome - I've had a discussion with the owner about the pizza ingredients. Some notes on the food: - The pizza is all thin crust. It's a business and they're always trying to manage/guess demand vs. (Personally I don't mind such things as long as it's not a consistent problem. The wait staff is pretty good about keeping up, and you can see they're working and not just standing around. So keep that in mind if there's a rush of people showing up. There is typically only 1-2 servers, maybe 3 on friday or saturday. If it's your first time I'd recommend either not trying friday/saturday, or waiting until about 8pm. (You are just standing off to the side of someones table or outside.) This can be a problem in the winter if you're waiting outside or sitting at a table near the door. Friday and Saturday evenings you will have to wait, and there isn't really a waiting area. They do a lot of carry-out business, but we always eat in the restaurant. It has a small town, home-y atmosphere to it. I really enjoy eating at Leaning Tower! The restaurant isn't very big, I would guess seating for only 75-80 people. ![]()
